    We’ve all had the days where our head is pounding, we burn through an entire box of Kleenex and that little itch in the back of our throat seems to get the best of us. Well, for RZ Industries Founder Steve Torbenson, this was the day-to-day norm due to a sinus disability. Steve’s younger years revolved around four wheelers and dirt bikes. Day in and day out he was on the dusty trails of southern Minnesota. As the sun fell beyond the horizon each night he would pulled into the garage with a dirt smile ear to ear and routinely, he’d mutter, “Where’s the Kleenex?” We wont go into detail there – you get where I’m going as many of us can relate. For Steve these dusty days became all too familiar. At 19 years old he began renovating homes in Minneapolis Minnesota, while still attached to his ATV. This meant double the dust and fortunately, it didn’t stop there. Countless days of congestion and headaches later Steve saw the light, with 4 new riding partners, his sons. “Cruising down the trail with my 4 boys, looking back to see nothing but dirty faces broken up by white smiles, I knew there had to be a better way.” Says Steve. It was time to put the screws to the situation.

   Day in and day out, without exception, Steve spent his time developing what has taken the industry by storm today. The goal was to offer a mask that was sleek enough to fit under a helmet, comfortable enough to be worn all day, effective enough to filter 99.9% of particulates and durable enough to be used day in and day out. It was then in 2010 RZ Mask was born. As a go-getter from day one, there was no sign of Steve decelerating (on and off the trail). The Kleenex supply dissipated and the demand for RZ Mask quickly escalated. By combing comfort and durability with an effective long lasting replaceable filter it became the ideal particulate solution in over 50 different industries.
